Friday February 28th, Audio welcomes one of the hottest DJ/producer pair in house music, Prok & Fitch, Saturday March 1st, come join us for producer, songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Caleb Cornett, also known as Amtrac, and don’t miss Shur-I-kan, an international DJ that is considered amongst the top of the new wave of deep tech house producers/Dj’s. Audio is a dance club located at 316 11th St. San Francisco between Folsom St & Harrison St in the SoMA District. Our last show of February features PROK & FITCH! After catching these guys at Sensation last year, we knew we had to get them into our room.

Saturday, March 1st, Caleb Cornett, also known as Amtrac, returns to Audio Night Club

AMTRAC makes his highly anticipated return to Audio on Saturday, March 1st! Touted as one of the artists to 

watch for in 2014 in many PR sources, we’re expecting this night to be even bigger than the last one! 

From a very young age, Caleb Cornett found himself heavily influenced by music. Born and raised in a small town in eastern “bluegrass” Kentucky, Cornett spent much of his childhood banging on his small keyboard and strumming his first notes on guitar. It was then that he realized he had found his niche – his own form of self-expression.

A decade later, 24 year old Caleb is known to the world as Amtrac. Making a name for himslef remixing a diverse array of artists including Metric, Chromeo, Apparat, Treasure Fingers and The Beach Boys – as well as sharing the stage with Diplo, Mr.Oizo, Alex Metric and Steve Aoki – he has proven he has the authenticity it takes to stand out in a world full of gimmicks. Common Ground is proud to welcome, Shur-I-Kan, from Freerange Recordings.

An accomplished keyboard player Tom, or Shur-I-Kan, cut his teeth working in various bands in London and to this day is still a long time member of improvisional dance super group The Bays. As a producer however, Shur-I-kan was first discovered by legendary DJ Tom Middleton (Jedi Knights, Global Communication), who released the debut track “Niomi’s Dream” on the seminal Jedi’s Night Out compilation for Mixmag.

Considered amongst the top of the new wave of deep tech house producers/djs, Shur-I-kan fans include the likes of Ben Watt, Funk D’ Void, Laurent Garnier and Spirit Catcher. Shur-I-kan has been buillt a reputation as an exciting and formidable international DJ bringing his distinctive musical but jackin’ sound to crowds as far flung as Tokyo, Dubai, Moscow and Chicago.
